Case Study: Comprehensive Installation of Lighting and Ventilation in Bathrooms
Initial Inspection and Planning
Before starting the project, I conducted an initial inspection at the client’s home, during which we discussed the details of the work. The client wanted to upgrade the ventilation system in one bathroom and improve the lighting in both bathrooms. Additionally, they reported an issue with the existing fan in the second bathroom, which needed repair.
Installation of a Bathroom Fan
The first step was to install a new bathroom fan. This process included:
-
Drilling through the wall to create an opening for the ventilation duct,
-
Installing the ducting system to ensure optimal airflow,
-
Connecting the entire system to the electrical installation.
Installation of Spotlights
The client decided to enhance the lighting by installing six ceiling spotlights across both bathrooms. I recommended the best placement for optimal illumination. The installation process included:
-
Drilling precise holes in the ceiling,
-
Installing the wiring and connecting the spotlights to the existing electrical system,
-
Testing the lighting setup for proper functionality.
Repair of the Existing Fan
During the work, I was also able to diagnose and repair the faulty fan in the second bathroom. After the necessary adjustments, the ventilation system started functioning correctly.
Final Outcome and Client Feedback
The client was very pleased with the final result. They appreciated not only the professional execution of the installations but also the expert advice on lighting placement. Upon completion, all systems were functioning flawlessly, and the bathrooms now have modern, efficient lighting and ventilation.
